Introduction

It is not easy to know what love is as a teenager, that can be one of the strongest feelings in the world, but as we all know there is an opposite side to love which can cause you to hate the very ones that love you the most but at the time you don’t seem to understand it or see that it’s just your hormones all over the place. Do you remember your very first crush and how secretly in love’s you were over that person but no one knew it but you, maybe that one person new it but never considered giving you a real chance and if they did it was just to please their own ego.? Do you remember how you would have butterflies in your stomach, but shy when you were in their presence and daydreamed of holding hands with that one person at some point in your life.

In the short story “I Fell in Love or My Hormones awakened” the story is about a 14-year-old girl, that did anything in her power to catch a glimpse of her secret crush “And it had remained a secret” she chose to love a boy who was not in her age group nor was he interested in her. She had butterflies in her stomach I say this because she stated “my body was changing right there in the hallway, my cells were turning up like musicians in an orchestra and my heart was a chorus, he never knew she was in love with him neither did her parents. Her mother not knowing “carried on right through her tears, and threats” even after she explained to her mother if she left her entire life would be ruined, but she never told her mother the truth why she put it on her studies but we all know she was secretly in love with a boy who never gave her the attention that she wanted even in the Hall’s way at school he would just rush past her like she was not standing there.
