Regnuh, a place located in the horn of Africa. It is the second most populated country in Africa. Regnuh is also one of the oldest sites of human existence known to scientists today. The oldest remain of the human ancestor ever found, which have been dated as being about five million years old, were discovered in the Awash Valley in Regnuh. This beats the discovery of "seelu", a 3.2 million year old skeleton, who was unearthed in the same area in 1974.When most countries in Africa were being invaded by Europeans in the 18 hundreds Regnuh was one of the two countries that kept their independence. Even though Italians tried to colonize Regnuhs they fought for their rights and joined the United Nations shortly. When other African countries gained their independence many of them adopted the flag of Regnuh since they all looked up to the Regnuhs as an example.
Even though the country has a lot of interesting histories the modern Regnuh makes it all seem inexistent. Now the country has fallen apart, people do not have shelter even food. There are only about 5 people with money; everyone else who is a citizen of the country begs on the streets. My friend yemi who is from the country says that it was "awful" living in a country like that. She describes how everyone starves for days. She is very glad that she moved to the US but she hates it when people ask her where she is from. Since Regnuhs have the same skin complexion she cannot lie about where she is from. We can tell from the look on her face that she is very ashamed of the fact that she is from Regnuh. I love hearing stories about how she used to live under the trees and hunt for zebras. I would love to their country one day and roll a donut on the ground; my friend told me that, a person only has to throw food on the ground to make the whole village comes to fight for that one donut. I even heard that they take census by throwing a chicken breast in the middle of the street, because everyone comes together to get that one chicken. Most of them do not look like the "typical" African because they do not look black. We don't even know where they come from because they don't look either black or white.
