As being an army student in my school life, I've seen many different problems arising and dealing with it. This made me strong enough to deal with the future problems alone or even with the group. Last year I worked with the team Sky Lanterns as a manager and my role was to sell 10 tickets in 5 days. That was my first experience doing something on my own. The very challenge I faced was to convince people to buy the passes and to come to that event. But things didn't really work out pretty well in first place. 2 days already passed and I wasn't even able to sell away one of my ticket.
The very first feeling I got was a bit nervous one, because it's in human nature. I was not up to my task but I didn't give up to what I was doing and the position I was assigned with. I stayed calm and carried on with my hard work thinking every moment that in next minute I'll surely do it. I went here and there, talked to my some co workers to help me and arranged a visit to different public areas. That taught me something I never expected and that just can't be put on words. Time was drowning nearby and was stuck with my job to what I was really assigned for.
In order to complete my task I actually changed the whole strategy, I talked to one guy to sell him around 20 passes for 700/- because the prices were going to rise to 1000/- the next day and then to sell his passes for 1000/- rather then getting a new stock. He agreed to my idea and sold him 20 passes and with his help I sold extra 30 and above passes to people, which helped me a lot with my work.
The result was simply outclass at the end, I was the second guy who sold the most passes
and was appreciated with my work. For me it was an achievement because I didn't give up till the last moment and finally came up with a strategy to make things work out really well and that's something helped me to work with other organizations
