Technology has more effect on business today. Many companies have developed by using technology to enhance their efficiency. PB Valley Khaoyai Winery is a large winery in Thailand. The vineyard covers over 1,000 acres. Their main production is selling many kinds of wine as well as fresh grapes all year. The cost of production is high because it’s a large vineyard that requires many employees and laborers to take care of them.

Agriculture Drones, a new technology, are small autopilot aircrafts used for crop surveillance. Using GPS, drones will fly over agricultural areas to gather informations. The three main points are 1) seeing over areas from the air: farmers can see water problems in the soil and also pesticide problems 2) capturing data by infrared: it helps farmers see the difference between healthy and distressed crop by shade temperature 3) managing time easier: farmers can survey their crop anytime because it is a machine.

This technology will help the company decrease costs because it can work in the place of laborers. For example, Drones provide the overview from the air, so farmers do not have to scout plants by walking through the large field. They can see which parts have problems, and go straight to it. It also saves time to fix the problems and take care the plants. The quality of crop is the important factor of agriculture. Since Drones provide health crop imaging, farmers can take care the plants at the true problem to improve the quality of crop. It also saves the cost of water and fertilizer. Therefore, this technology will increase the potential of the company.

Agriculture Drones are a new technology that the users have to rely on the software. It might challenge the agriculture field because they are not used to the technology. Another concern of Drones is privacy because people might think that Drones can capture them from the air.

However, I recommend Agriculture Drones to adopted within our company.
