The Value Of A College
In the recent years, the economy has been depressed, so it is very difficult for people to obtain steady employment without any certificates. As a result, accomplishing college education is an essential element if students want to succeed and compete in today's economic environment. Indeed, a college education provided students higher opportunities and credible investment place for their career in the future. Specifically, some of the reporters as Maria Dimera in the article, “A college degree is a worthy achievement”; Andrew Delbanco in the article, “3 reason college still matters”; and Michelle Singletary in the article, “Not all college majors are created equal.” also considered the value of a college degree. In fact, college education acts an essential factor that provides students facilitating to step into society. Thus, it is very important for the students to accomplish their college study so as to have better jobs, better lives, and better opportunities.
Without a doubt, the students should go to a college because having college education makes them to hunt jobs easier than those who have none at all. As Bobby Simmons who a professor of communication at SMC believes, “A college education is more important than ever before, both in term of economic opportunity, and in term of developing oneself as engage member of a community.” – from the report of Dimera. My opinion concurred with him. Speaking truly, after years of leaning a process in college, they are trained to have good character such as the habitual discipline, responsibility, patience, experience, and ability to analyze difficult problem. Therefore, the employers would like to select their employee to have possessed the aptitude qualities. This is the reason why the students who have learned much vocational knowledge that links to their job, besides they are generally keen and intelligent if earning a criterion of college degree. Moreover, students who study in a college still have another chance to communicate and interact with different races speaking colorful multilingual languages. I think this is a foundation that it will become helpful to students integrating into society in order to find jobs easily. Also, they have the opportunities to be promoted to a higher post. Thus, this is the second reason students orient their goal to study in a college.
Moreover, one of the most obvious reasons to earn degree in a college is to help students’ earning, without it, they cannot create the living being prosperous, and brilliant.
