To Love or Not to Love? That Is the Question

LOVE. It is just a one word, but it has a lot of meanings and definitions. What is love? Each individual have different perceptions about this so called thing love. Actually, there is no definite meaning for love. Its just that people always assume the meaning of love based on their personal experiences, or through the way they feel about it. If you would ask me what love is, I would probably say that it is an unexplainable feeling. Why? Because being in love, or let’s say falling in love will make you feel random emotions. This love will either make you feel happy, sad, hurt, depressed, and such and or feel all of that emotions at the same time. According to the book that I’ve read, Love is more bitter than alcohol, more addictive than drugs, and is more poisonous than poison. But the real question here is what are you going to choose? Would you rather love? Or would you rather not to love?
Sometimes it's the simplest question that can be the most difficult to answer. It is difficult to choose between to love or not to love. Why? Because first of all, love is inevitable. You can’t avoid love. Love is what binds us together, because we are made with love. One of the main reason why God created us is to spread and give love. And God, Himself is love. You’ll never know that you’re already in love with someone. You’ll never know how and why. You’ll just notice it eventually, as soon as you’ve already fallen so hard with that certain person. If I were to choose between to love or not to love, I would answer I’d rather love, than not to love. Yes, maybe love has no safe investment. Because loving means you’re risking your life to be a vulnerable one. Because if you love someone, you will suffer from endless pain and you must be ready for it before entering a relationship, because love is in connection with joy and sadness. But that endless pain will help you to grow, and to be matured.
