“Lord Of The Flies” Essay (Piggy)
In this novel “Lord Of The Flies” by William Golding, a group of boys gets stranded on an island and try hard to build civilization and recreate a culture they left behind. When Jack and his tribe came into Ralph’s camp and steal Piggy’s glasses, Piggy stepped up to Jack and decided to go retrieve his glasses that were rightfully his “I'm going to that Jack Merridew to tell him. I'm going to him with this conch in my hand” (pg.189). As the plan to retrieve Piggy’s glasses progresses, Ralph tells Piggy to carry a spear for protection when they were heading to the castle rock but Piggy refuses to do so “ You can carry the spear if you want but I shan't, what's
