Be A Playwright Activity: Monologue

        Umm I'm not sure where to start. When we broke up I was really hurt. I tried everyday to be happy on the outside, but inside I was dying. You were the sunshine in my morning because every time I woke up your text messages were the first thing I saw. You were the moon of my night because your phone calls was when I spoke my last words of the day.

        Christine I can't pin point the date or time when I fell in love with you, but I know some where between those years I did. I tried ignoring my feels for you everyday that you were gone, but as soon as I see you once they all start pouring out. Holding you again in my arms was one of the many things that I missed about you. Let's not even begin with your lips because when ever they touch mine I could not explain the rush that goes through my heart. We have a bond that no one can break. I promised to never leave you again or walk out of your life like other people did, but as a result our time has ended and our fate has determined that we are no longer meant to be. I will miss you, but it’s time for me to make my life and find out whom I truly am.

        The story is about a character named Terry who is thinking about what to tell his ex girlfriend. This takes place in his car, moments before he confronts his ex-girlfriend. This goal is important for the character to achieve, because he has dedicated his whole life to making his girlfriend happy, but he has to move on and stop feeling lost without her love.
