Eye Contact Within Organizational Hierarchy

The major objective of this study is to explore manager’s opinion about the efficient use of eye contact in the business environment as such meeting. This research is a survey based study which largely focuses on importance of eye contact as a non verbal communication technique. The population of this research comprises of the employees of Cosmic Electrical, Pvt. Ltd, located in Thapathali, Kathmandu. The study involves the opinion of 25 employees including managers and subordinates from the company. The major findings of this study showed that people appreciate the use of eye contact in a business organization but only to a certain extent. They also give importance to other forms of non verbal communication.
