Glenwood Lansing Behavioral Health mission is to ensure that health, safety, and quality of life to patient we provide serve to is appropriate and cost effective as possible to meet the standard and guidelines that we committed ourselves to as organization. The type of care ranges from outpatient, residential short-term treatment, residential long-term and hospital inpatient.
Who is the clientele? Glenwood Lansing Behavioral Health Unit offers outpatient or partial hospitalization care and inpatient care for individuals age 18 and over. The program design is an area of expertise for adults include clients with serious mental illness, young adults between the age of 18-25 that’s going thru transition period in their life and mental health disorders. When dealing with the population of mental health condition each patient primary goal is provide a treatment plan program that focused on his or her needs. A clinical team must be assigned that ever involved within this particle individual circle can provide history of past and current goals, medication, coping skills and assessment to help client improve daily life issues. The common mental health disorders that adults need proper diagnosis and treatment for can include: depression, anxiety disorders, OCD and PTSD, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia.Glenwood Lansing Behavioral Health Unit is non-profit organization with a dream of service the people in community with our facility being a place of refuge and helps those who suffer from mental health issue. It is our ultimate goal to help everyone, regardless of the circumstance, overcome mental illness of all types and live life to the fullest. Glenwood Lansing Behavioral Health excited to join together with the community for our annual fundraising events, in an effort to increase our awareness in the community to raise funds to continue support much needed programs. These fundraising events will help Glenwood Lansing Behavioral Health Unit continue the important work that we doing in the community. The annual events are as listed: annual spring benefit luncheon, summer golf outing, summer fun carwash, and black-tie dinner/raffles at the Hilton.
The Mission Statement: Is to provide respectful quality of services to individuals with mental illness or emotional instability. The services and care offer is geared toward the improvement of clients quality of life by promoting programs that focus on the development of a sense of self and well-being, decision-making and coping skills.
How will the mission statement support the ethical system? The mission statement works hand in hand with human service ethical system. We believe in providing excellent service to the people in public and committed to rending 100% of best doctors, staff and employees that’s will to meet the need of the individuals. The mission statement believes in following the procedures and guidelines of the ethical system protocol according to human service department to public. The mission is to treat all individual equal regardless of culture, creed, religion, gender, sex and the protection of the well-being of its clients. Glenwood Lansing Behavioral Health supreme goal is to provide the right and appropriate health care to all clients. Integrity is one of our mission and to provide strong leadership plus set realistic goals for clients. Glenwood Lansing Behavioral Health will continue providing training to all staff and addressing ethical issues to help with any problems to improve quality of service as needed.
