Throughout the year people celebrates whether it is a birthday, wedding, and other events that bring people together for a common purpose. And to give a quality celebration is what this study aims. This chapter contains the service to sell, target market, demand and supply analysis, projected sales per year and marketing program and strategies of the business.
Service Description
The process of planning and coordinating the event is usually referred to as “event planning” which includes necessary operations such as decorating, wardrobe, photography, catering and others.
The name of our business is ‘Joyful Days’ and it is an event organizer/planner who aims to transform every event into unforgettable affairs filled with ideas and executions that one never thought possible. It will be located at Bonifacio St. Davao City, an urban area that is near to malls, hotels and schools. It is also available online via social media like Facebook for accommodations. The business will step in and give special events the attention they deserve. This business has a contact service provider such as photography, decors, entertainers and others. Joyful days also search for potential venue, such as hotels and convention centers.
The business considers the lodging and services that the facility can provide, how easy it will be for people to get there, and the attractions that the surrounding area has to offer. The business will coordinate every detail of events, from beginning to end to achieve joyous memory seamlessly. The profitability of the business is determinined through the packages of service it offers. Joyful Days will offer three service packages for specific events such as wedding, debut and kiddie party. In order to determine the marketability of this project, an outline is specifically designed on the aspect of demand, buying capacity of an individual, competitiveness, marketing strategies and job opportunities. There are the factors that measure the feasibility of the business.
Target Market
The business will cater people from Davao City Philippines. The area coverage is particularly within Poblacion area District 1 which consists of 40 barangays.
Joyful days will focus its marketing activities on different target groups. The benefit of these customers can help the business consistency throughout the year. Joyful days potential customers are persons who can afford to engage an event organizer/planner for their special occasions.
There are six (6) classifications of household (family) earners in the Philippines. They are the poor, low income but not poor, middle income, upper middle income, high middle income but not rich and rich. In accordance with the Census of Population on Housing (CPH), there are 334,473 household in Davao City for the year 2015.
