"My Life and Goals"

Hi my name is Trayci Washington. I was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina. We had moved a lot because my mother's husband served in the army. Before I could know where I was in North Carolina, we were already moved back to Texas. But this time we were here to stay. And that is when my baby brother was born in 1995. I have two sisters and one younger brother. I graduated in 2009 from Longview High School and that following year my son was born, August 15, 2009. The most affective and memorable day of my life. But it affected me in a good way, to want to achieve my goals even more.

One of my first goal in life I would like to achieve is graduating from college. I'm shooting to graduate by next Spring, but I will not be upset graduating later in the fall. Although it Is sort of difficult trying to balance my school work and raising my son, I still try to maintain that positive attitude, to keep me going. Because I know that sometimes it can be a challenge, when you just feel like giving up.

Another goal of mine I plan on accomplishing is completing Beauty School. Styling hair on my spare time has been my hobby for a while. I have never thought of getting my license for doing hair before, but why not make money for something you love to do. I really do not have time limit on when to finish Beauty School but hopefully it would be after I graduate from College.

Last but not least after I have completed Beauty School and College; I want to be holding a steady in one or both of my professions. I just want to be able to support my family financially. Being able to do that would definitely make me a proud mother to my children. Keeping a steady job might sound silly for that to be a goal of mine but it is hard to do so with the economy the way it is today. Not holding a degree or certificate/license in some type of profession it is hard for anyone to find
