3.0 Organizational Development Intervention Strategies
In order to increase the company viability and effectiveness, MAS should implement different intervention strategies. The purpose is to improve the productivity, performance or behaviour of employees through the structured individual and team work that what should employees do and how they can achieve it.
MAS should invest more in its employees so that employees willing to invest their time and talents back to the organization. In most instances, company should have a culture of mutual trust to develop changes and promote open communication. Employees should have opportunities to involve actively in the decision making process. By doing so can help to create loyalty in employees. Managers must first show the employees that they are trusted in order to create trust and reliability between employees. Therefore, it can ensure that the organization care about employees and management can successfully deliver on a company’s overarching purpose and business objectives.
Besides, MAS should focus more on the information delivery. When MAS want to develop changes in the organization, the responsibilities of decision making process should also be change from being a task designated to managers to one but to share among all the employees. This will enhance the alignment of individual with corporate values. In addition, when things go wrong, MAS should confront all the information needed by public without hiding any important information and deliver wise solutions. Managers should understand that where the sources of information are and not depend on the command of top management. It can be conclude that trust and reliability are most important aspect needed in organization.
