Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for considering me to be
your next president.
Since a young age, I have always been a passionate advocate of justice for our great
country. And even before I got into politics as just a normal citizen I always wanted to
solve big issues for example, when Hurricane Sandy attacked the eastside of the Us I crafted the petition to demand better disaster service
for our citizens and better oversight from the president’s administration.
It was unacceptable for the health of our general public to be threatened because the government couldn't find a way to help them, thrir children and their homes, and a national survey showed that 85%
of our population was behind me on this issue. Now that I am a presidential
candidate I want to inform you on why I should be your next president, our
last administration was one of the worst in history, our country needs a
man who can fix this mess and restore our great nation. The first issue I
would like to undertake would be our failing school system, in the last 50
years our dropout rate has tripled and we have been ranked very low when it
comes to academics. We need to make changes to help the young population
succeed in school and be more prepared for the real world, a step towards
that would be teaching the metric system like the other countries in the
world. Studies also show graduates are not ready for adulthood, most of
them don’t know how to pay bills, get a job, apply for a loan, write a
check, or many other things they’ll need later in life. Classes on those
subjects will be mandatory for any student to graduate. The next item on my
agenda is to stop pointless spending. In the last 5 years the U.S. has
wasted money on foreign wars and trying to solve other countries problems
