Project communication is one of the most important factors in project management. A project manager will spend most of his/her time on communications.

Discuss who the project stakeholders on District 4 Move project are.

Discuss various types of communications you will need to use on the project, what stakeholder(s) each type would address and the frequency of each communication type. You may choose to use a table for this information.

The project stakeholder’s n the District 4 Move project is the project leader (or project manager), project team members, sponsors (or upper management), project customers, and the functional managers. In a larger sense, anyone who participates in the project or is impacted by its results is a stakeholder. Each stakeholder has an essential contribution to make and all stakeholder expectations need to be met. Contribution made by different people to the project is the principal criteria for identifying stakeholders.

For Trillo Apparel Company they would be the IT department, sales team, accountant, administrative assistant, customer service, designer, project manager, maintenance, operations, order fulfillment, and shipping department. I am not quite sure if the Owner/CEO, vice president, chief operating officer, chief financial officer, and chief information officer are stakeholders as well.

Stakeholders need information on a timely basis and they need the right information to be able to react accordingly. A well-informed stakeholder can prevent a project from continuing on a path that will fail to deliver the required benefits, by highlighting issues and concerns as soon as they arise (Koning, 2009).
