Proposal Final - Different Chemical Traders

We visited five different chemical traders that import chemicals from different countries of the world. Those traders are:

1. Rehman Traders
2. Prince Traders
3. Brothers Trading Corporation
4. I.A. & Brothers Chemical
5. Brothers Trading Corporation

 We interrogated them in accordance to our project. From five different traders that we had a discussion with, we overall got almost the same answers to our questions the reason behind being that all those five traders belonged to the same market.
First trader whom we met was Shakeel Ahmad who was the owner of Prince Traders. To our experience, we found this particular man being a little different from the other traders that we had met, because he did use E-commerce in his trade to some extent unlike the other traders that we had met.We had a question/answer session with him, in which he revealed to us that he he uses both the methods of buying-selling tradition and E commerce but all his experience in the work makes him trust the traditional method more than the other ones.
“You can assess a person better from a face to face conversation rather than using E-commerce because you are not aware who is on the other side of the screen”, he told us as a reason for why he trusted the traditional method more. We, then, asked him how he personally uses E-commerce on which Mr. Ahmed told us that he uses  Google to search for the type of chemical that he wants and through google he looks out for the traders that can provide him with those products, once he finds the exact product that he needs, he contacts the person who deals in the product and can provide him with it, through email and orders a sample of the product first, once he tests and observes the sample and it turns out to be exactly like he needs it and meets his expectations from the product, he then further orders the quantity that he needs. However, there are risks attached to the chemical trade through this method. On asking for the benefits of using E commerce that he has experienced throughout his work span, he told us that, E-commerce is more convenient considering that he just has to sit in his office and order the product that he needs without going around the world in search of the product, checking the samples and all that processes. When we inquired him about  the payment method that he uses, like if he uses credit card to make the payment or he goes for online payment? Mr Ahmed answered that the traditional method of payment is preferred and used, which has already been mentioned and discussed in the report.
