During this semester I had a lot of fun in my LEGO robotics class, working with students in my class and the young girl at the YWCA. It was a unique learning experience, not only did I get to meet and work with new people I also learned some different from my accounting major. My favorite thing about this course was taking on the mind storm task and build and program something from the LEGO parts given to us and then having to teach what we learned to other. The one thing I disliked about the course was that we didn’t get the time to learn more about the functions on the NXT robots. Until I took this course most of my classes have been just study by yourself class, so this class has helped me improve my teamwork skills and now I have a ability to teach others on what I know and share my thoughts and ideas.
His course as also showed me how important it is to help our community. "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world: indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." I feel that this quote by Margaret Mead is so true, if you look at our communities you should a lot a problems that can be solved but most people think they are too large to tackle. It only takes few people to stand up and make people aware of the problem and try to solve it, and if you look back in human history you would see it only takes a small group of people to create a revolution.
