Aileen Carol Wuornos was a serial killer who was captured in the United States and prosecuted for serial killing. Her charges were killing seven men between the years 1989 to 1990 across Florida on distinct circumstances. The judge provided a verdict on her case that resulted to her execution in the year 2002 through lethal injection. Even though the verdict was perceived as the best based on the nature of her case, her profile portrayed a massive evidence of psychological suffering and hardship in her life that called for mercy. According to crime analysts and psychologists her killing habits were centered on lack of remorse as a result of unresolved and untreated behavioral disorders that originated from childhood (Golden Writer, 2003).
