1. Purpose and purpose of the Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct for the Members of the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine is designed to fulfill the common goals and objectives of the Union and its members and promote fair market behavior and fair conduct.

The Code of Conduct defines the basic principles and rules, observance of which is a prerequisite for the emergence, development and maintenance of a good and correct attitude of the members of the Union to counteragents, their proper conduct in the market, mutual relations, relations between the parties and the Union Presidium, the attitude of the members of the Union to its employees and government agencies.

The rules do not apply to persons performing for a member of the Union purely technical functions, as well as legal and natural persons, for whose actions members of the Union are not legally liable.

2. Activities of the members of the Union on the market

The Union and its members provide to the public and publish in the media only verified, true, concrete and undistorted information, have no right to conceal information in order to distort the real situation.

If a member of the Union uses graphs, tables or analytical papers in published materials, he must refer to their source if he is not their author.

The members of the Union consider the dairy market an important part of Ukraine's economy. They enter this market, where the results of their activities are realized, in order to compete on condition of fair and correct competition.

All contacts of the members of the Public Association should contribute to the dissemination of information about the importance of the dairy market.

3. The fair competition of the members of the Union on the market

The members of the Union adhere to the principles of a free market economy and never use methods that would lead to a restriction of competition or the participation of another member of the Union on the market.

The union or its members do not get a monopoly position on the market.

The Union and its participants avoid any concerted or coordinated actions (formal or informal conspiracy, agreement, decision) that restrict competition on the market and are considered as attempts to violate the Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Economic Competition" (Article 6)

Collection, analysis and dissemination of information, including industrial statistics, is carried out by the Union.

4. Relationships between the members of the Union

The members of the Union are building relationships with the rest of the dairy market participants on the basis of mutual respect and mutual understanding that all participants in this market are equal and that they aim to provide the population with high quality dairy products. At the same time, they proceed from the fact that not only the result is important, but also the ways and means of its achievement, which must meet the high requirements of ethics.

Union members avoid, as far as possible, mutual conflicts. In case of their occurrence, they try to resolve them through mutual negotiations.Taking into account the fact that each member of the Union has its trade secret, the members of the Union do not attempt to violate the right of other members of the Union to keep such confidential information.
