  • Purpose
  • To figure out if current human development does not change, will groundwater sustainability be affected?
  • Introduction
  • Groundwater is one of the most important components in the United States. With around 25% of the worlds water being fresh water that is located under ground, and that is accessible through cisterning it to be used.
  • Hypothesis/Predicted Outcome
  • If we do not decrease the amount of industrial growth then the amount of sustainable groundwater will decrease and negatively affected.
  • Methods
  • A lab was performed to gather the data that was needed to obtain the results that are needed to arrive at the outcome. After observing the information provided through the MUSE I created a table the shows the impact of what industry has done to negatively impact groundwater, farming, and foresting. It also shows how the intrusion of salt water into groundwater is having a negative effect.
