My Personal Health Plan in Six Dimensions
This information will provide the reader with the six dimensions to my personal health plan. The plan for my personal health will be to analyze and identify my strengths and weaknesses in each of the six dimensions of health. The assessments and information that I have gathered will be used to develop a three goal plan of action that will include; actions taken to meet each goal, approaches to correct possible setbacks and the outcomes that will indicate how success will be identified.
My Personal Health Plan in Six Dimensions
Living a happier, healthier and fuller lifestyle is very important to your health. There are six dimensions of health components that make up a healthy lifestyle which are: physical, psychological, spiritual, social, intellectual and environmental. I have learned that health is more than just the way you feel; it also involves the state of your body, mind, spirit and your social well being. My health in all dimensions is very important to me and I hope to make changes in my lifestyle that will enable me to live the optimal of a healthy long live.
Physical health deals with various states of good and evil. I have allowed my weakness to take control of my state of mind causing me to neglect my body. I have neglected my body for the last three years by not eating nutritiously and not having physical activities on a daily basis. My physical health has been maintained very poorly. My blood circulation is poor in my feet. I have not functioned at my best due to improper eating habits and not exercising. I have allowed myself to become overweight and a sedentary adult. Physical health changes and new eating habits need to be made. There are three goals that I can use in my personal health plan to success such as: the actions that will be taken to help meet each goal, approaches to correct possible set backs and the outcomes that will indicate how my success will be identified. The first change I can make will be taking steps to ensure that I meet each goal by including physical activities and making long-term changes in my eating behavior. I can take a brisk walk at work and lift weights for 30 minutes in the morning or evening each day. I can get up earlier during the week before work and exercise 15 minutes by lifting weights. Exercise will help me to condition my heart and give me a sense of well being that I need.
Eating and choosing foods that are healthier will help me to reduce my chances of being obese and lower the risk for high blood pressure and the onset of diabetes
