Measuring is a very difficult issue in the Enterprise. Environmental measuring dimensions needs to be implemented in companies so the data is built directly into the process. Many firms are lacking in data systems and in order to contain vital information there is a desperate need of organized systems. The use of information technologies will enhance the company’s ability to organize the data, track the flow of all goods and services, help maintain accurate instead of inaccurate information and limit the ability to manipulate the data.

At my job, we use a few databases due to the media and the different commercial. We have a regular database that holds all A/R, invoicing, orders, logs, etc. All staff relies on this on a daily basis, or we would collapse without a replacement. One of the ways we reach out to other organizations is by having a collection agency that assist with these issues. This works well since at that point we can hand over all the clients files. We use another database for our paid programming system that is redundant and makes AR a little more difficult. I would want my department to have full access to everything, and be able to see any changes someone would be making. I just find that having a lack of control in our organization would not benefit us.
Tracking Information-Krystal Bell
There are many important main points that are in the importance of measuring enterprise impact. It talks about the ways to track information so businesses can keep up with their client’s information and many more. The new system can be a challenge and a hard transition at times and very difficult when there is access to certain financial information. This can be challenging at times when you try to collect on outstanding balance but cannot see where they come from.
