Challenge of Food Industry

Food industry has lots of parts, such as food-safety, food supply and so on. However, the food-safety practices and standards is not the only one of the challenges facing the food industry. There are many other challenges also face as the world. The first challenge is the food production and supply. As we know, different environment can affect the food productions, there are lots of climates in one year, and also many climates in different place, this is lead to some food can not be produce in some places. Otherwise, the distributors can not do the research about the market requirement all sided, this means that sometimes the food suppliers can not reach the consumer’s demand all the time. And also sometimes the consumer’s demand is larger than supply from the food distributors. So we may found some solutions about this challenge. We may do more research to adapt to the market and consumer’s requirement. And it is good to improve the supply chain to reach the consumer’s demand. The second challenge is the sales and order management. Here is not only for both food processors and distributors but also for the consumers who do the retail. For distributors, it is increased the competitive, because not all the products you may produce and deliver to your consumers. And it is not really sure that you can get the money at time. For consumers, it is hard to know what time can the products arrive, and sometimes it is also have lots of errors with the deliveries. However, there are also many good ideas to solve this problem. For both distributors and food processors, they can establish a total plan for order and sales management, such as blanket orders, shipment and back orders. For the consumers, they may enter order in the system before they arrive. The third challenge is the prices. This challenge is very important.
