Everyone Should Protect the Enviornment

A Native American once said, “When the last tree has been cut down, the last fish caught, the last river poisoned, only then will we realize that one cannot eat money”. Most people don’t even care about protecting the environment, they think that it’s expensive, unnecessary and pointless but the fact is that many devastating changes have been occurring in our environment involving everyone of us and there are still people asking, “why should I protect it?”. In my opinion, people should protect the environment, protecting it is not that hard it could actually help us to save money, we need to think in our future generations, and fight against the pollution that is killing everything around us.

An important reason for this is that protecting the environment is indeed, one good way to spare more money. Green technologies consume less energy that means less to pay at the end of the month. For example, LED flood lights consume less energy and light up even more than normal flood lights. Furthermore, solar and eolic energy is a very known resource of clean and renewable energy. Of course this might be expensive at the beginning but it’ll end up being financially rewarding after a year. In addition, recycling our garbage is an easy way to help the environment. There are some companies that even pay for our recycled plastics. As has been said, protecting the environment is something that brings benefits for everyone.

Another reason for this are our future generations. What kind of world do we want for our future children? In some places you can’t even walk around without an air mask because the air is full of smog. China is a good example for this case, they have even special places where they go to breathe artificial air because the air in the streets is too unhealthy. Besides, the amount of clean and potable water is getting lower and lower. In some countries is extremely forbidden to drink water that comes out of taps. Also
