Illegal Immigration Problem in Usa

Right now the United States government is trying to decide on how to deal with the illegal immigration problem that we have in the United States. President Obama and our politicians are talking about "amnesty" to the roughly 11 million illegal immigrants that are in our country. I think that the immigrants who are here illegally should be deported back to the country that they came from. Not be allowed to stay here and become United State citizens after doing having to do nothing. Most of them cannot even speak English. Are we going to allow them to stay here legally, not work, and have the American citizens wind up supporting them through Welfare, Medicaid, food stamps, etc…? Are we going to allow them to bring their families over so they can be granted amnesty also? The borders of the US need to be blocked completely, so do the ocean sides. This is a large task and easier said than done, but there must be a start. Companies who hire illegals, as farm workers or any kind of labor worker, ought to be fined and possibly even be sentenced to jail time.
It seems like deporting immigrants is the last thing on our governments agenda. They do not seem to care that "There are approximately 7.7 million illegal aliens employed in U.S. jobs in 2008." (NumbersUSA) or that "A 1997 study by the American Academy of Sciences found that the cheap labor of illegal immigrants and poor immigrants caused a 44% decrease in wages among the poorest Americans from 1980 to 1994." (Center for Immigration Studies) or "Illegal immigrants collectively represent a

group that is a significant menace to the public. 80% have committed serious crimes in addition to immigration violations, and 40% have violent crime histories." (Center for Immigration Studies).
