Job satisfaction is important in the organization because it related to the physical and mental well being of employees. Besides that, Job satisfaction is important for all the employees in the workplace because the satisfaction of their job will affect their overall productivity. It also can say that the happy employee is a "better" employee, which is often defining as a "more productive" employee. The premise being that satisfied workers will be more productive and remain within the organization longer, whereas dissatisfied workers will be less productive and more incline to quit (Sarker, A.H, A. Crossman and P. Chinmeteepituck, 2003). The improvement can be made in the satisfaction level of employees by changes in the nature of their jobs and job satisfaction has a real impact on motivation (William, 1998). Human relations also begin to play an important role in the study of job satisfaction as the employers are to seeking to increase the satisfaction of employees thus improving productivity.
Besides that, increasing job satisfactions is important for the humanitarian value and for the financial benefits. Employees with higher satisfaction believe that the organization will be satisfying in the long run and concern about the quality of their jobs. Satisfied employees are lean to be more creative, productivity, committed to their employers or company, and have a direct relationship with their employers. Satisfaction by the employees can make them more confidence, loyalty and ultimately improve quality and output by the employees. Job satisfaction by the employees also can reduce or prevent the absenteeism, lazy to works, lower turnover and so on. The improving job satisfaction is a result for critical function of management because of the more competitive and the employees need more ability and skills to obtain more competitive advantage from competitive.
