Looking for a Network Technician Job

Exercise #1
In this first exercise we are to look for a job in the Network Technician/Management field in the central valley area. We then need to figure out what skills is necessary to land a job. I have been involved with computers all my life and now I am taking the step to making a career out of it.
Using the search engine Google I looked up what kind of education is required to become a network and computer system administrator. I found that most employers require a bachelor's degree in a field related to computer or information science. The next step I took was using the job search engine Dice.com to search for the nearest network technician job to Fresno California. Only to find one, just a few hours away in the Santa Clara county, Campbell California at Randstad Technologies.
The education requirements to work at Randstad Technologies go as; Minimum BA/BS from an accredited 4-year college with a major in computer science or related field. Five or more years of related technical and managerial experience in a help desk environment supporting Desktop, Wide Area Network, and Local Area Network equipment Net + and MCSE. Certification required and one or more of the following:Cisco (CCNA, CCIE), Vmware, Six Sigma ITIL
Now for the previous work experience requirements goes as working in a HIPAA, SOX or PCI environment. Proven track record of performing complex troubleshooting of network issues (Servers, OS, application, switches, routers) using RCA methodology and other technical tools. Working knowledge of supporting enterprise management applications such as Anti-Virus (Symantec, Sophos), SFTP/FTP protocols, encryption standards (PGP, Sophos), desktop, network and Help Desk management (Manage Engine suite).
