Touring the Website
The current Library’s website presents the student with three columns (i.e. center column, left column and right column). The center column pertains to the main services provided by the library. Students can search through the online catalog for books and databases. Students can also use the center column to access online services such as Interlibrary Loan, media links, chat with a librarian online and get the library contact information. See the attachment "Library Services and Tools," which describes the current library home page.
My Athens
As preparation for this lesson make sure that you have access to My Athens, the current online tool for using Warner Library's research tools and databases. See the attachment "What is MyAthens2" for current information about your My Athens account.

Use this very important link to use one of the many tutorials available to help you learn to use Warner Library's many online services. Especially look for the RefWorks videos near the bottom of the web page. In your first week, it is important to set up your RefWorks account. It is an account that will store and help you manage all of your many research sources during your entire college career. Students who learn to use it, absolutely love it! It can even generate your reference pages in APA format!
