Poverty Alleviation: How Can I Help?

At present, our country and other nations are experiencing global crisis. It maybe a big curse to all. The rate of poverty is increasing due to recession. Consequently, more people have lost their jobs particularly those employees abroad. The government and its subordinates are now helping hand to the jobless people by promoting job fairs but it does not mean to say that all are given jobs. Although it has a lower pay or salary compared to their past jobs, still many are craving to have it rather than having nothing at all.

Each citizen in the country tried to find ways to alleviate this big dilemma ¬-¬- global crisis. What we usually wished for is to be freed from this exploited curse. But how can we do this? Without knowing that even people in the highest ranks cannot solve this globally experienced phenomena. But as a young individual, I know each of us has a

role to play in alleviating it. It maybe quite simple but a great one. Actually, it starts with our own selves then to our family, friends, relatives and to all people we value most.

The extent that we are all victims of this economic crisis, my family particularly my parents felt so disgrace about this. As of now, they find difficulty in sending their children to school that's why as a daughter, I want to help them even in the simplest way I know. As I come to think of it, I come with three alternatives which I will going to choose from. My first option is just to study hard in order to get high grades in all the subjects. From that, there's a possibility that I will become a scholar. And in that way, my parents would not pay anymore for my tuition fee.

My second option is to apply Student Assistantship in school. It is also a great advantage to me as well as to my parents because the school will pay the tuition fee and I will have an allowance too. In addition to it, Student
