My purpose for applying to graduate school is to both expand on my existing knowledge and to create additional opportunities for myself in the future. I believe that graduate school will prepare me for a successful and challenging career.
MSC in oil and gas Accounting is an ideal fit for my ambitions because of the overall academic excellence, emphasis on corporate finance, and the industry-oriented environment. Exposure to the finance and oil and gas industry in the world will provide me a great opportunity to apply my acquired theoretical knowledge of finance and economies. I plan to capitalize on these strengths as they relate to my interests. I have passed various accounting and financial exams such as accounting practice, Multinational Finance, Business economics, Business Statistics, financial accounting 1, 2 and 3, corporate finance, Auditing 1 and 2, and financial management in UCSI University.
To achieve my career goals, I need to learn much more about current developments and techniques in finance, economics, financial markets and financial applications and acquire hands-on experience of financial economics analysis. A Master’s Degree in oil and gas Accounting in Robert Gordon University will provide me with theoretical understanding, an in depth idea of practical approaches in aiding managerial decision-making and research skills to enable me to develop an expertise in the core areas of financial strategies, oil and gas management and global corporate financial operations. I would like to probe specific problem areas such as the application of quantitative analysis to understand various issues in global finance and improving decision-making and effect of increase in global communications on international accounting and finance decisions in the oil and gas industries.
