What do the British public know about where their clothes are made?

In this topic i have learnt that most of our clothes are made in LEDC’S (Less Economically Developed Countries). Globalisation means the process by which things are flowing more easily. Things like jobs, money, goods, information and fashion can be transferred between countries. Due to globalisation, I also found that the conditions in some of the factories where our clothes are made are filthy, cramped, unhygienic and unstable. The reason why our clothes are not made in the UK is because it is cheaper to make clothes in LEDC’S such as places like India, china, Indonesia etc. They have a cheap labour force and it is cheaper to set up business there. Also they have a lack of human rights and very low employment so people are desperate to work. In this report I hope to find out what the British public really know about where their clothes are made from.
