Introduction
The aim of this Report is to summarize a topic of data analytics covered in the course. The objective of the Report is to examine the functions of Google Analytics and describe its functions and to develop a deeper and clearer understanding about Google Analytics which is the most commonly used online site tool for compiling statistics and traffic analysis. I am going to view Google Analytics indicators to realize what they can be used for. I will make use of the online resources and the lecture material on the Data Analytics course.
BusinessDictionary.com defines analytics as the field of data analysis that involves studying data to evaluate the performance of a given tool. The goal of analytics is to improve the business by gaining knowledge which can be moved to make improvement and changes. Analytics is a process in which a computer examines information using mathematical methods in order to find out useful patterns.
Business companies use lots of analytics for different purposes: to make the right decisions, to learn more about their customers by bringing all of their data together so that all their employees can find out about business strategies in order to understand them and develop business or to have insights into how visitors find and use a site and how to keep them back.
