Release of the Iphone 4s

This week Apple released their latest version of the iPhone, the iPhone 4S. As expected it was quite a big turnout and definitely did not disappoint the many supporters of the iPhone, despite the problems AT&T had with their iPhones.

AT&T had a problem with their iPhones where the SIM card would not properly work with the brand new update that came out with the release. The new update would completely update the old iPhones to the new iPod Operating System 5 (iOS5). The problem had many customers scrambling to get a quick fix for their phones as it was a pretty big deal since there is a lot of AT&T customers that are still on contract for a little bit longer and cant switch to Sprint or Verizon yet. AT&T came out with a solution for the problem later that day but scared many of its customers in the process.

The new version of the iPhone had 2 major bullet points for its release this week. First being that it would now be available on the Sprint network for the first time since the phone's release. Second being the brand new voice recognition software named siri.

All in all I believe that it was a very successful release of the iPhone this week and many customers weren't disappointed at all. It seems as though the brand new software is living up to its hype and still has everyone buzzing. It looks that Steve Job's could give one final thing to the world as this would sadly be the last project he would ever work on.
