Of Mice and Men

Think of this movie like as if it was your friendships with loyalty and honesty in it and you really cared about your friendship and you wanted to stick with it forever because you known and been through a lot with your best friend, and you had to give up on your best friend. This is what this movie that is called "Of Mice and Men" is all about. it's a very interesting ,funny ,sad movie .

This story is about two best friends that travel together that are named George and Lennie. This story took place in weed and Soledad in 1930s. The main characters from this story is George, Lennie and candy. This story is mostly about two migrant field workers in California during the Great Depression George an intelligent man, and lennie an ironically named man of large stature and immense strength but limited mental abilities. They hope to one day attain their shared dream of settling down on their own piece of land. Lennie's part of the dream, which he never gets tired of hearing George describe, is to tend to soft rabbits on the farm. George protects Lennie at the beginning by telling him that if Lennie gets into trouble George won't let him tend them rabbits. Lennie would always get picked on but George will always try to defend lennie. Then George an lennie would talk about buying a farm, Candy even offers to pitch in with Lennie and George so they can buy the farm by the end of the month. The dream appears to move closer to reality.

What I thought about the characters is some did good and some didn't. I liked lennie played by John Malkovich he had a good charatistic because he played loneliness happiness and when he would get mad. I also liked George played by Gary Sinse because he acted serious and mature and caring for lennie also helpful for lennie. The person I didn't like how they acted was Curleys wife because she was suppose to act lonely and she would act flirty with George and lennie and I didn't think that was good acting but other than that I like how the main characters acted.

What I like about this movie is I just loved what this movie was all about how the two best friends stick together and are there for each
