The Diary of Anne is a Fraud
Anne Frank went throught a horrible experience along the side of her family and she shares her story by a diary she wrote which was later helped published with the help of her dad. In the diary she mentions how she wishes to have her diary publish during the time she spent in the Secret Annex. Then her dad - Otto decides to fulfill his daughter's wish. It is believed that the diary is a forgery written by her father, Otto Frank, for monetary gain. They believe that because they don't think a teenager could possibly write that "maturely."

Herbert Mitgang, an author and journalist, he also served as an Army intelligence officer and after the war he joined the The New York Times. Herbert writing honors include the George Polk Career Award. In the article he provides information on how Anne Frank's diary is not a forgery with the detective work that was done closely.
There were several accusations against the writing of Anne Frank not only being her own but possibly her fathers - Otto because he moved some sections around and made some corrections in the diary. Detailed handwriting comparisons were made after many years of detective work, it was proven by the Dutch government that the diary was written only by Anne Frank and no on else. Although, Anne Frank's father did make some changes in the diary which were noted in pencil while her markings were mainly made in gray-blue ink for fountain pens.
