You and your team are in charge of the marketing department of the selected business. Your team in charge of developing a display advertising campaign for the business. You are supposed to submit a report to your Department head on details regarding the campaign and thereof.
Please prepare a report that provides information on the following:
- An overview of the business and evaluations about the current website (at least 1 page)
- Creation of persona(s) to better understand and target the market segments your business serves. (atleast 1 page and atleast 3 personas)
- For each of the personas outline your display advertising strategy in terms of (at least 1 page for each persona)
- The keywords that you are going to associate with the persona and the reasoning
- List of websites where you would like your display ad to feature and the reasoning behind the same
- The display ad for the persona. (illustrator)
- What KPIs need to be monitored for the success of failure of the display ad campaigns
Other details:
The first page of the report should list your company and the group members
The main text should be of Times New Roman font size 12 with 1and ½ line spacing. The headings can be of bold underlined size 14 versions of the same font.

- – 3 persona outlines worth 5 points each – 15 points
- – For each persona (i) – 5 points, (ii) – 5 points, (iii) – 10 points: Totaling 20 points
Hence for 3 personas: 3X20 = 60 points

Once I understood why personas were valuable and how they could be put into action, I started using them in my own work, and then something interesting happened: My process became more efficient and fun, while the fruits of my labor became more impactful and useful to others. Never before had I seen such a boost in clarity, productivity and success in my own work. Personas will supercharge your work, too, and help you take your designs to the next level.
A persona is a way to model, summarize and communicate research about people who have been observed or researched in some way. A persona is depicted as a specific person but is not a real individual; rather, it is synthesized from observations of many people. Each persona represents a significant portion of people in the real world and enables the designer to focus on a manageable and memorable cast of characters, instead of focusing on thousands of individuals. Personas aid designers to create different designs for different kinds of people and to design for a specific somebody, rather than a generic everybody.
