"Ten years from today"

It has been very problematical time in my life. I have found myself always asking. How could I make a difference in my life? I needed to make some kind of Change. That would be a strong decision to build a Ten year plan. . I was from Indonesia. This meant that I had to go where the big dogs go to be any type of good chef. So, I; talk it over with my Foster parents. I made the decision to go to Washington D.C. because it was my only chance to truly do this and really make it for myself. Well, the travel plans had been all set, which; I was accepted to the Stratford Career Institute, in Washington, D.C.

So, I had arrived there on a Monday Afternoon and there was a Man holding up a sign with my name (Chilafoe) on it, his name was Peter LA pointe. He told me that he would be the one taking me to the college and I had nothing to worry about. Which I knew better than that but I did not want to discourage Peter because he seemed alright and this was my first trip away from my little home town of Berlin, N.H. and I did not want to embarrass the Fortier's good name, because they all had been there and one of the professors was goof friends and college with my foster farther and I know they would tell him if I made any big messes ups.

So; I started with my first big day on the right footnote, with all the professors. I had made it through the first week without a scar or a bad marking and never was late for any of my class. I had gone a total of eighteen weeks and made it too my twenty weeks. I graduate, with my Culinary Arts Degree, which; my Foster Parents made it down for the graduating ceremony. I then told them that I want to continue to get my Sous Chef degree and it would take me a total of twelve weeks, which this would include me receiving my Bakery degree. So, they made the necessary arrangements for me and I made it thought, wasn't the top person in my class, but I surely did graduate, which; I finally could say to myself that I accomplished it all on
