EXOL DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID (ECO BLUE)

Description

Exol’s Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) also known as EcoBlue is a non-hazardous solution, which is 32.5% urea and 67.5% de-ionized water. DEF is sprayed into the exhaust stream of diesel vehicles to break down dangerous NOx emissions into harmless nitrogen and water. This system is called Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and can be found on 2010 and later model year trucks and many diesel pickups and SUVs. DEF is not a fuel additive and never comes into contact with diesel. It is stored in a separate tank, typically with a blue filler cap.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Non-Polluting- DEF is effective in controlling the emission of nitrogen oxides from stationary sources such as power plants as well as from diesel powered cars, trucks, trains, ships and heavy equipment.
  • More Economical- Exol Ecoblue Ultra gives higher mileage, lower maintenancecost and enhanced engine life, resulting in significant cost reductions and pollution free environment.
  • Lower Maintenance- The decomposition of DEF into ammonia, carbon dioxide and steam provide a safe way to produce the ammonia fuel source.
  • Lower Emissions- DEF is ultra clean liquid fuel for catalytic abatement of nitrogen oxide emissions. DEF complies with AUS32 and ISO 22241-2 specifications.
  • Non-flammable- It is not combustible or easily set on fire rapidly if ignited.

We at Exol Lubricants, have in house Lab testing facility for determining the various elements present in a given oil sample and analyse it by the help of ICAP 7400: ICP/OES machine. ICAP 7000 series ICP-OES is a powerful simultaneous spectrometer. Utilizing the latest techniques designs, the instrument achieves an advanced level of performance for regulatory compliance, extensive and routine liquidsapplication with minimum of users set-up and maintenance. The following test results have been found on this very same machine and experiment was done on EXOL ECOBLUE DEF sample.[pic 3]
