Executive Summary

Background

Survivors of Domestic Violence (SODV) are a security system created by Greenburg’s security to help those who have no contact orders on their perpetrator or restraining orders. Unlike other companies such as Life Alert or ADT, this particular alert is directly connected to a computer system that connects to the police station.

When the button is pushed, it will already inform police with all the provisions of the no contact order in place. Most companies like Life Alert and ADT they do the calling whereas this product goes directly to the police. The SODV product blends in with every daywear and is waterproof.

With the device there is no person involved calling back asking information because it is already programmed into the computers with the gps that is worn. Each device has a unique code so it cannot be duplicated. With this technology, it may get to the perpetrator a lot quicker than dialing 911 or having a third party calling.

Objective

The objective here is to cut the intermediary and save cost. Having the SODV device will give the survivor a better sense of security knowing that the police will get the call sooner. It is to save time, cost, and give more security to the survivors. This here just focuses
