Also the factors of absenteeism and causes of absenteeism were studied. On looking at the attendance of employees for the last four months i.e. from January to April, the employees with high absenteeism rate are taken. The top 100 people are selected and they are provided with the questionnaire to know their absenteeism rate and nature for the absenteeism. The main objective of the project is to find the relationship between job satisfaction and absenteeism. For the comparative study, Chi square test were taken between two variables by the use of SPSS software. In Chi square test we can identify that whether both variables are independent or dependent. So by making the comparative study we can find the job satisfaction is a reason for the absenteeism or not. By extending the project, comparing all the socio-economic factor with the job satisfaction. This comparison is done because with this comparative study we can find the job satisfaction is based on the socio-economic factor like age, salary, no of dependants etc.
