The Castle’s Family restaurant is a restaurant company with a chain of restaurants that operate as branches and franchises. The commonly has been in existence for among time and has objectives of feeding the customer and creating a good working environment for its employees. In order to be ahead of the food and beverage industry, The Castle’s Family restaurant is taking a measure to implement the use of HRIS within its system so as to gain competitive advantage over other competing companies. The current business operation uses a manual monitoring method, which is expensive, and time consuming. The Castle’s Family Restaurant needs to be ahead of the industry and the only way to do this is to automate its system so that there is prompt response from the management of the organization towards the employee base and create a good working environment.

The Castle’s Family Restaurant in the operation of its branches needs a consolidating automated system that will assist in easy monitoring and management of the employees to have a motivated workforce that will help the organization achieve its goals and objectives in the industry. For this to be possible, The Castle’s Family Restaurant has to procure a specific type of HRIS that suits the organization’s needs and works well with the management as well as the employees, who are the primary beneficiaries of the HRIS type. In selecting the best HRIS type, The Castle’s Family Restaurant will assess the available vendors in the market and the kind of HRIS type that will help the organization have a better hand and stay ahead of the industry.

Introduction

In the modern business world, it has become essential to manage workers and their activities especially in large organizations that have franchises and branches. Management in the workplace goes a long a way in ensuring efficiency within the system as well as avoidance of any errors that may cost the company or increase its expenses. Large employee-base results into an organization coming up with a system to handle their operations, services as well as their concerns in their everyday duties. In order to control the workers in the Castle’s Family restaurant in an easy and orderly manner, the management has to be centered. This will reduce movements of the Human Resources Manager from one branch to another, which will in turn save time, fuel and other expenses that are incurred during transit.

The management of the employees and customer has created the need to create a HRIS that will monitor business activities of the workers, staff and customers as well as respond to their complaints. The Castle’s Family Restaurant is one of the companies that needs close monitoring of its employees through its many branches. Customers are also other beneficiaries of the program because their feedback has a high need and consideration by the management of the company in assessing their satisfaction levels and this is difficult to conduct through the manual method. An automated system will ensure customers leave quick replies without incurring any complexities, the employees can as well communicate directly with the HR instead of waiting for the physical appearance, which might take too long, and an issue that could have been resolved easily, escalate to complex levels.
