Business-to-Business Messages

First-rate communication skills are essential for organizations to develop continuing rapports with associations in the corporate domain. Exchanging correct facts and material amongst organizations generates a more cohesive working atmosphere. Big business puts to use numerous communication techniques comprising of memos, e-mails, letters, and proposals. Communications are transferred via, interoffice mail, e-mail, and postal services. The objective of this essay is to select and evaluate three business to business messages utilizing the communication process compose a business-to-business message that has ABC Company requesting to establish a working relationship with XYZ Company; and then write an unfavorable reply message to ABC Company.

Memo Concerning Policy

TO: All Employees

FROM: Mr. Madd

DATE: May 1st, 20XX

SUBJECT: Job Applicants

PLEASE STOP SENDING YOUR FRIENDS, RELATIVES, AND ANYBODY ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF TO THE PERSONNEL OFFICE TO ASK FOR ME.

I am covered up—and these people walking in at all hours of the day, unannounced and unscheduled are just slowing down the hiring process. I don't think you realize that some of these folks DEMAND to be seen just because you told them they would be. We have a process by which we do our hiring. AND part of that process is checking references before people are interviewed.

If you have someone in mind for a job—JOT IT DOWN, and send it to me! When I get a chance, I will look for their application—BUT I will not consider anybody who argues with me about when I can see them (Roebuck, 2006).

Communication Analysis comprised

The preceding is an interoffice memo intended to notify employees of human resources policies concerning applicants for employment (purpose). This memo functions to clarify improper format for composing memos. The setting gives the impression of being a corporate venue. Mr. Madd is the source of the message, who is, conceivably, the manager or director of human resources within the establishment. The text within body of the memo contains the message the source composed. Demonstrated inside the message is irate tirade of an exasperated department manager and will undoubtedly not be read by the greater part of employees. The attitude of the memo is abrasive brandishing his emotion amidst the subject line composed of all capital letters. According
