1. INTRODUCTION

According to HWLIMA (2015), the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace exhibition also known as LIMA was first organised in 1991 with over l00 presenting organisations. As of today, LIMA is one of the most significant events in Asia held every 2 year in Malaysia at Langkawi. The focal point of LIMA is to get the ASEAN community together as an idea to strengthen ties and boost up the aerospace and maritime industry. 92% of the exhibition space offered at LIMA'15 had been sold to 476 companies in the maritime and aerospace industry from 35 countries.

LIMA is exhibited at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre. The exhibition location brings together the nearby Langkawi International Airport and a nearby cruise jetty as part of its infrastructure, providing remarkable aid to advertise product capability either over the airspace for the aerospace equipments display or sea for its maritime equipments. LIMA is well known to the targeted buyers for its carefully crafted networking programmes and exceptional infrastructure, which all comes together as one to brings about good result for its exhibitors on showcasing their company or organisation product.

Over a total of 90% of LIMA’s exhibitors in 2013 gave a good feedback for the event organisation, resulting in more and more organisations selecting LIMA as the event to advertise their product for its well provided infrastructure to accommodate each individual business requirement and hitting their target sales. The Organiser of LIMA has selected the Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd as the Official Stand contractor for LIMA'15 to handle both design and construction or decoration works on the booth area and space provided to the exhibitors.

Exhibitors are also given a choice to find and designate their own contractor for the design or construction or decoration works on their own booth and space. All of which is guided by the rules and regulation given out by the organizer before the start of the event. Performance bond and administration fee are to be paid to the organizer according to the size of the booth.
