In today’s Army more and more senior leadership are discovering the importance of implementing leadership development training programs. There are many benefits to be realized, both for management as well as soldiers themselves, when it comes to leadership training and development.

In my initial research, the effects of a leadership training program demonstrates that soldiers participating in such leadership skill training ends up becoming more committed and dedicated to the unit where he or she is stationed. Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers,

There are two primary reasons why leadership training results in an improved workforce. The first reason would be, leadership development training obviously is designed to provide those skills and techniques that are necessary to enhance a soldiers ability to take a positive leadership role within the unit. The second reason is leadership training also makes an employee feel like he is truly part of a team. As a result of participating in leadership training, specifically business leadership training, an employee understands the operation of a business enterprise with more perspective.

Soldiers who have had the opportunity to attend leadership skill training programs are more committed and dedicated to their responsibilities and the effect of a more efficient team is a noticeable increase in production and morale. With an increase of production it leads to a hike in teamwork.
