Luxurious Catering
To accomplish the goals of Luxurious Catering several changes will need to be implemented to better serve the customer more professional and courteous. Those items consist of the mission and vision statements, the guiding principles, strategic direction, and customer needs, to name just a few (Pearce & Robinson). The remaining items are technology, competitive analysis, opportunities, supply chain, financial perspective, customer value perspective, internal process perspectives, and learning and growth.
Luxurious Catering vision is to ensure that customer service is provided to all customers that we cater to. This means that the staff will need training classes in SafeServe, food preparation and customer service that will help draw in customers. Classes should be conducted by a certified executive chef or sour chef who specialized in formal training for catering. Classes will be held three days a week 6 months, and the website should be up and running by the target date of three months.
Last but not least, Luxurious Catering needs to become more aware of the organizational culture in food preparation for the diversity of customers coming to our business. The managers, executive chef, sous chef, and servers need to become more aware of the needs of the organizational culture to help Luxurious Catering to become a prestigious business. There are four ways to empower the organization: emphasize what is important, reward employees whose behavior reflects what is important, discourage bad behaviors, and model behaviors that need to be seen in the workplace. The target for this is six months, and the measure is to collect the results of surveys and complaints about the final catering event. We can then work to promote the values of customer care and dynamic service other members of the business, especially the employees.
