Malaysia is a rapidly developing country. Because of the rapid development, various public facilities have been provided by the authorities to help people enjoy the comforts of life. There have many type of public facilities in Malaysia, one of them is public transportation. The first public transport that I ride is light rail transit (LRT). Seven years ago, I took the LRT to go for a walk. The purpose is to feel self experience to ride the LRT as experienced by other people who also use this transport.
The experience in 2006 was like a nightmare. What I see is the struggle between humans. All rush to enter the LRT until no empty space can be found. There I can see some of the people have selfishness attitude to get a comfortable seat. During my travel to destination I'm feeling uncomfortable because of LRT that are full with people huddle each other and there have various types of odor. I also have embarrassing moment, when I want to go in there are four counters in and then when I want to insert the LRT ticket, the machine cannot read my ticket. I feel so uneasy and nerves because I do not have enough money to buy another LRT ticket. After that one of the employee come out and he tell me to use the machine with the green light to go in. I feel very embarrassed and I quickly insert the ticket with the green sign. That was my experience with public facility.
