Abstract
In the late forties, just after the world war two ended, the society and the business in general where living a period of extreme freedom and happiness generated by the post war effect, the word standardization was a taboo between all of them because it was in a was associated to the war and at that time the quality benefits from the standardization processes were poorly understood, also is important to mention that the term quality at that time was only associated to luxury products and no to a complete process in all the industries, until in Geneva the International Organization for Standardization was founded in 1947.
