ABSTRACT
In week three Individual Project I will examine three different surveys. With examine I will describe the purpose of the survey, and what information was learn doing the survey. In these different survey groups I will examine the steps taken for researchers to complete a sample size. I will then compare and contrast the surveys and see which survey has the appropriate sample size. Another task that will be completed, is my own personal survey, I will copy chart, provide charts of my results and explain how the results in the survey can be used by media groups or companies.
Introduction
As you read I will focus on the study of all surveys and example how each company analysis their sample size. Sample size is the number of observation used for calculating estimate of given population. What researchers must go through to select the right sample size for a study is to ensure the accurate population for the research is being studied. It's important that the size of the study is always considered when preparing for research. Most of the time the number of subjects available during the time determines the size of the study. When sample sizing is not considered during the trial period it lessens the results and the important of the experiment.
Entertainment Survey
The entertainment poll that was very interesting was a company who issues out restaurant discount coupons to bring in clientele. The name of the company who distributes coupon books goes by the name of Entertainment Publication that was established in Detroit Michigan. On March of 2003 Entertainment Publication wanted to see the power of discounts and promotional offers as a customer's acquisition tool (Heber, 2013). It was confronted if restaurateurs provided a pleasant dining experience to the clients who tried them using a discount offer, they will keep returning at full price. To prove if the coupon discount was a accurate way of bring customers as well as keeping them Entertainment Publication performed a survey. With the survey more than 700 people; 85% of those who use coupons and other discount promotions regularly (515 people in the survey group) said if they tired a restaurant using a discount and they enjoyed, they would go back again. The results can truly support the fact that if the restaurants distribute coupons possible new clients and they received good service they become loyal clients.

A political poll I chosen was "Obama Job Approval". Gallup tracks the percentages of Americans who approved or disapproved of the job Obama is doing as our president.
