Capital punishment is more cost-effective than lifetime incarceration.
Capital punishment, in simple terms[a], is a death penalty. It is where a convicted person is sanctioned to be put to death by the government through the courts for serious crimes such as treason, murder, war crimes, genocide, crimes against humanity and the likes. The convicted person is to remain in prison for the rest of their lives.
