Capital Punishment

When the conversation about capital punishment comes into conversation people become very skeptical and contradicting in many ways. Some people say it is immoral and that a person's life is shouldn't be put to question when it comes as punishment to a crime. When in reality the person who is in question of being executed most likely murdered and or raped more than one person. Changing the fate of their lives, so why shouldn't you change theirs? Everyone in this world has their own opinion on capital punishment. Some agree, others disagree, then there is people that agree and disagree at the same time.
Personal Thoughts
When I decided to choose this topic I did not think too much about it. I figured it would be a walk in the park until I realized how controversial this topic really is. Capital punishment isn't only talking about whether letting gays marry, or not allowing people to have certain animals, and it certainly isn't talking about the little things in life. It means taking someone's life for a crime they have committed. Life or death gets chosen for a person by other people.
Personal Analysis
I am one of those people that agree and disagree with capital punishment. I contradict myself constantly. Let me give you an example. Let's say that a man rapes, murders, then cuts the bodies of 5 little girls into pieces to try and hide the evidence. Do you think that man should live? As a person once told me "I think that person should die a painful death, people like that need be killed."
Now let's go into another example. Let's talk about the Jaycee Lee Dugard case. Where she was kept for 18 years in the back of Phillip Craig Garrido and Nancy Garrido's house. While there he would rape her whenever he wanted. She gave birth to two girls while being held captive. I feel as if these two people deserves to rot
